{Fat Cat Crochet}

ELPH and I spent the weekend with out of town Friends.  Relaxing, swimming, boating.

It was a beautiful weekend.  Sunny, breezy and warm but a whole lot cooler than it has been.

How did you spend your weekend?

ELPH has been working from home lately.   Because his “commute” is quite short he’s still in bed when I leave in the morning.  (Brat)
When he’s having a slow day he takes a long lunch.
At the Range.  (BRAT)
He’s been taking a lot of long lunches this summer.  (Brat! Brat!)
All that extra Range time  has improved [...]

It’s been awhile since I’ve posted.  Too hot.  Too humid.   The Lake is like bathwater. So not refreshing.  Blech.  
I’ve been trying to knit and just not feeling.  All I really want to do is lay around an watch TV with the A/C on.  But the dog gets me up off my ever growng backside every so [...]

The Tour de Fleece is over and I’m ready to get back to knitting.  I enjoy spinning but I’m easily bored so spinning everyday for almost a month was a challenge in its self.

Well the plan was to Spin every day the Tour rides; Saturday July 3rd through Sunday July 25th. Days of rest: Monday July 12th, Wednesday July 21st. (Just like the actual tour).  And I did!  WINNER!!  Even got me a Yellow Leader Shirt!

I bought all this loverly fiber for spinning during the Tour de Fleece.

It’s mocking me.

Can’t you hear them?  “Why are we in the dark?  Come fondle us!  You know you can’t resist for ever!”  “Spin me, spin me, spin me!”  
One more day my loverlies one more day.  Then you meet… the Fat Cat.

Can someone please explain to me how I can use the same pattern, same needles & same yarn and get THIS result??
