Echinocereus triglochidiatus or more commonly known as the Claret Cup or Hedgehog Cactus. Found these in Tonto National Park, east of Superior, AZ. The flowers stay open even at night, most species of cacti close in the evening. This cactus only blooms for 3 to 5 days. We were very lucky to have captured it.
