{Fat Cat Crochet}

I bought all this loverly fiber for spinning during the Tour de Fleece.

It’s mocking me.

Can’t you hear them?  “Why are we in the dark?  Come fondle us!  You know you can’t resist for ever!”  “Spin me, spin me, spin me!”  
One more day my loverlies one more day.  Then you meet… the Fat Cat.

Wow!  I’m going to need a vacation from my vacation!  The Zombie Prom Date Knitters have really got the week packed full of adventure, fiber & drinking!

Echinocereus triglochidiatus or more commonly known as the Claret Cup or Hedgehog Cactus.  Found these in Tonto National Park, east of Superior, AZ.   The flowers stay open even at night, most species of cacti close in the evening.   This cactus only blooms for 3 to 5 days.  We were very lucky to have captured it.
